Radon emergency measures for the school building Obstalsen

As early as spring 2022, the municipality of Glarus Nord will implement various immediate measures to sustainably reduce radon levels in the Obstaldenum basic school building.   

Measures are planned for doors and the sealing of openings in parts of the building that come into contact with the ground. The reason for this is a value of 477 Becquerel/m3 determined in the school building, which is slightly above the new permissible reference value of 300 Becquerel/m3.
