TSR4 for continuous measurement of radon concentrations in buildings
The portable probe base is a measuring chamber with a semiconductor photodetector. Radon enters the chamber by diffusion through the input filter on the underside of the probe. The probe measures autonomously and continuously. It processes the results in an interval of 4 minutes and counts the short-term moving average of the radon concentration (1 hour moving average - average of 15 4-minute process intervals). The device also counts the long-term moving average radon concentration (24-hour moving average).
Data storage and transmission
The probe stores time records of these radon concentration values including humidity and temperature values in its internal memory (typically at 1 hour intervals). In addition, the time recording values of the energy spectrum measurement (typically at 12 hour intervals) are measured. The resulting values can be downloaded continuously during the measurement or at the end of the measurement. The radon probe data can be transferred directly to a PC via the USB interface or wirelessly via antenna and central unit. The central unit is not included with TSR3 and is sold and delivered separately.
Positioning
The probe can be positioned anywhere, but generally it is placed on the ground for measurement. Do not cover the bottom of the probe.
Versions
Compared to the TSR4 you get a screen with the TSR4D. This enables a quick overview of the measured values.
