The Corentium Home allows you to measure the radon content in the air easily and conveniently in your own home. The first readings can be taken after 24 hours. Due to its high level of user-friendliness and good workmanship, it has been a permanent fixture in our range for years.

The device has been equipped with the latest technology by the Norwegian manufacturer Airthings, so that you receive an up-to-date and modern radon measuring device when you buy it. However, it is still easy to use, so that even non-experts can obtain good results quickly and easily. You can view daily, weekly or monthly average values on the LCD display and thanks to its good shielding, the Corentium Home is insensitive to sources of interference.

The radon detector sits comfortably in the hand and its dimensions are reminiscent of a modern smartphone. After inserting the batteries (included in the scope of delivery), the device is immediately ready for use and starts taking measurements. The first readings can be taken after 24 hours. It is best to start your measurements in the cellar. If possible, the measurement period should be at least 5-7 days per room. The longer you measure, the more accurate the measurement results will be.

Simple transport

The radon detector is powered by three AAA batteries, which are included in the scope of delivery. The batteries have a service life of up to two years. Wireless operation means you can transport the device to any desired location without having to rely on a power socket. This makes measuring in different rooms very easy.

Relax thanks to daily monitoring: View short and long-term values on the modern LCD display and make the right decisions for your home on this basis. Generate a radon report as proof of low concentrations if you want to sell your home.

WHAT IS RADON?

What makes radon so dangerous?

Radon is a highly carcinogenic, radioactive noble gas
that you cannot see, smell or taste. If you breathe in high levels of radon and its radioactive by-products over a longer period of time, the risk of developing lung cancer increases considerably.

After smoking, radon is one of the most important causes of lung cancer. According to current findings, around five percent of deaths from lung cancer in Germany (over 1,900 per year) are attributable to radon and its decay products in buildings.

Take precautionary measures!

Only by measuring can you be sure of the actual radon levels in a building. Small measures are often all that is needed to significantly reduce indoor radon levels and the risk of lung cancer.

Günstiges, aber gutes Messgerät
Sehr geehrtes Radon-Team,
haben uns neben dem "Canary Pro 2" System auch drei "normale" Canary Messgeräte gekauft.
