Corroventa’s R2 is a compact radon fan for Sub-Slab Depressurization (SSD). It extracts radon-laden soil gas and creates a slight vacuum beneath the slab, stopping radon from entering basements and living areas. Adjustable performance makes the R2 suitable for varying soils and both single- and multi-family projects.
Efficiency and stability
The EC blower delivers the required negative pressure efficiently. In Flow Mode, the R2 maintains the set airflow by automatically adapting power, avoiding unnecessary energy use. Typical consumption in a standard setup (3 inlets, 25 m duct, 70 m³/h) is about 87 W*.
Installation-friendly details
Place the external control panel where it’s easiest to access—thanks to a magnetic holder or the included wall bracket. The digital display simplifies setup; a dedicated filter hatch enables tool-free filter replacement. The alarm supervises airflow and warns of deviations.
Compact ductwork
The 50 mm connection minimizes core drilling diameter and installation effort—especially useful in retrofits—and helps route pipework cleanly.
