AlphaRad - the efficient radon ventilation system
The AlphaRad is a tube ventilator for ventilating rooms and floors where elevated radon-222 activity concentrations have been detected. Thanks to the high degree of housing tightness, the radioactive gas is reliably and safely discharged. The AlphaRad can be installed directly in ventilation ducts by means of connection pieces on the pressure and suction side. Since radon usually enters the building via the basement rooms and spreads to the higher floors via stairwells, cables and pipe connections, a reduction of the radon concentration in the basement usually helps to significantly reduce the total radon exposure in the building.
Speed controller RS-1-400 or transformer RSA5E-2-P (optional)
The tube fans of the AlphaRad series can be controlled with a speed controller or transformer.
When connecting several fans, it must be ensured that the maximum current and current consumption of the speed controller is not exceeded.

Please note: Due to the phase control, a humming noise may occur in the lower speed range. In rooms with a requirement for low-noise fan operation, the RSA5E-2-P speed controller is recommended.
