AlphaBlock 4+

"For radon-tight renovation of existing buildings and radon proofing of new buildings."

The certified AlphaBlock 4+ radon foil can be used both for renovating existing buildings and for sealing new buildings. Installation is quick and easy thanks to the adhesive strips.

For uneven substrates in existing buildings and depending on the floor structure of the new building, we recommend the additional installation of the RadonTec protective fleece despite the already integrated fleece. Detailed information can be found in the respective installation instructions.

The radon-proof AlphaTape provides additional sealing of the bonded joints.

The AlphaSeal sealing slurry is used for radon-tight bonding of the AlphaBlock 4+ foil to the walls or the floor slab. It is suitable for vertical and horizontal use both indoors and outdoors.

Regardless of where they are used, all penetrations (cable and pipe entries, earthing lugs, etc.) must be sealed radon-tight. We recommend the radon-tight AlphaColl adhesive sleeves, which are available in various diameters.

EXISTING BUILDING INTERIOR RENOVATION ALPHABLOCK 4+

AlphaBlock 4+ is a bitumen-free radon foil for radon-tight interior refurbishment. The radon barrier is laid in the room like a tray and bonded to the walls with AlphaSeal sealing slurry.

Laying under the screed: with additional radon fleece if the substrate is uneven.

Laying above the screed: not under floor coverings that need to be glued down.

What makes radon so dangerous?

Radon is a highly carcinogenic, radioactive noble gas
that you cannot see, smell or taste. If you breathe in high levels of radon and its radioactive by-products over a longer period of time, the risk of developing lung cancer increases considerably.
