One year ago on February 11th 2021 the first radon precautionary area in Bavaria was defined. As a result, the radon concentration had to be measured at all workplaces in the ground floor and basement. So in the spring of this year, the first twelve-month measurements will be completed. But what actually happens when a new workplace is set up in the radon precautionary area?
Mistake: I have rented or bought a building for my workplace. Here, the radon concentration has already been measured for one year in accordance with the law using measuring equipment from a recognized body. But now I have to do it again.
Fact: That would be double. It is important that you get the documents of the measurement results of your predecessor and keep them. Please note: However, if you have made changes to the building that may affect the radon concentration, you must measure again.
