Radon measuring device RadonEye RD200 from FTLab

Radon-Eye is the latest innovation from FTLab and sets standards in the field of radon measurement. The device impresses not only with its appealing appearance, but also with its inner values. Thanks to the ion chamber technology used by FTLAB, the RadonEye radon measuring device can realise up to 20 times faster measuring times than other comparable measuring devices. In addition, the RadonEye can also be used for time-resolved measurements, as the radon concentration is recorded every 10 minutes. The meter can be used with or without a smartphone app. However, if you want to get accurate data, you should install the app on your smartphone and connect to the RadonEye via Bluetooth.

Measurement recommendation

Measure relevant rooms (i.e. daily occupancy > 2 h) over a period of three to five days in order to record different weather conditions and their effects on radon entry into the Building.
The highest radon concentrations are usually found at the lowest floor level of a building. However, due to chimney effects, radon also rises to floors above. Therefore, we recommend that you always measure at least one room on the ground floor or first floor in order to obtain a comparative value.
Radon entry paths usually vary from room to room. It is advisable to measure all rooms on the lowest floor where you regularly stay for a longer period of time.

Telephone consultation with a Radon expert (optional)

Book our telephone consultation for your rental unit. Our engineers are trained radon experts of the LfU Augsburg (State Office for the Environment in Augsburg). We will support you in interpreting the measurement results, advise you on any necessary (remediation) measures to reduce the radon concentration and answer any questions you may have about your radon measurement. Arrange a meeting after the end of your radon measurement.

Das RadonEye funktioniert ohne Probleme und zeigt recht schnell einen Messwert an. Die Verbindung über Bluetooth funktioniert auch ohne Probleme und schnell. Die Messdaten lassen sich als *.txt herunterladen.

Radon Eye
Hallo,
bin schon etwas älter aber die App runterladen ging doch einfach. Man sollte ein Verlängerungskabel an das Radon Eye anschließen dann kann
man mit eingesteckt bleibenden Radon EYE alle Räume ausmessen. Wenn die APP nach Aufruf mal nicht richtig funktionieren will, eifach auf
Deinstallation Button drücken und neu aufspielen, dauert alles zusammen etwas 1 Minute für betagte Personen (wirklich wahr)
und schon zeigt es den Stunden/Tagesverlauf an. Wirklich einfach zu bedienen. Außerdem wird nach z B jeder 10 miütigen Messung im Display
der aktuelle Wert der Messung angezeigt, ohne irgend eine Einstellarbeit, also einfach und narrensicher.
